Scene:

I chose a scene from Superbad where Fogil gets a punched

Scene break down
the scene had 19 shots, the shots were all very close up because it is between two people having a conversation. In some of the shots it was longer and had zoom or movement in it. A few shots we far away to show everything and everyone in the scene. The very first shot they made with a quick but short pan to show who was buying the drinks. the next couple shots are all the same close shots of there face not breaking the 180 rule. Then they decided to change it and make the camera farther and more to the side seeing the back and the front of the people in the scene still without breaking the 180 rule. It then goes back to the original shots after 3 it gets a little wider on Mclovin and then the shot right after is close but more on the side showing more of an angle then straight on. The shot with the wallet then Mclovin instead of having 2 different shots the just changed what it was focused on making the shot clean and changing around what types of techniques. Before the punch the camera angle is different then the rest on Mclovin is lower showing more of his body so when he gets punch you see the entire thing and him fall. Then the shot take sthe shot far back into the store getting the entire counter and all three people and teh robber reaching over the counter. Then its a very close shot of the register opened and hands grabbing alll the cash showing nothing else. Then the camera goes to the right showing the robber run out the doors as soon as he runs out the door the shot goes back to the wide angle and has the girl behind the counter grabbing the phone and dialing. Then it brings us below and slightly right below the cash register showing the lady lean over to make sure mclovin is okay. It then makes it look like you are the women looking down hearing mclovins answer. It goes back then to wide angle of girl on the phone. next shot inn aisle looking at another co worker grabbing a beer and chugging it it has his entire body in this shot. It then goes outside and has Mclovins friends walking back the stop in then the camera moves close to them having different movement by the actors and camera. they added the camera movement to add a more worried/scared look to the shot. Then it is a shot of the store from out side only showing a cop car and the outside because it is showing what Mclovins friends are seeing. then a quick shot of the friends walking out of shot. Its then them sneaking up teh side of the building moving towards the camera and the camera is also moving slowly towards them and slightly angling to the left. It then shows what they are seeing inside of the store.
